What the GM50 High Bay is for
The 50W screw-in UFO lamp: E26/E27 base, Ø297 × 175mm, 280 grams. The smaller of two lamps built for retrofit into existing sockets — greenhouse aisles, propagation halls, secondary spaces — where the job is to add horticultural light quickly rather than to hit a canopy target. Aluminium and PP construction, no driver, no hanging hardware.
What you get
- Standard E26/E27 screw base — drops into existing lampholders.
- 50W lamp, Ø297 × 175mm, 280g net.
- Aluminium and PP construction for passive heat dissipation.
- Lightest fixture in the catalogue — no structural allowance needed above an existing pendant.
- Pairs with the GM100 at 100W and Ø340mm on the same base, for mixing output across a run of sockets.

Before you spec it
What is the difference between the GM50 and the GM100?
Wattage and diameter: 50W at Ø297mm here, 100W at Ø340mm on the GM100. Same base, same materials, same limits. Use the 50W at lower mounting heights or tighter socket spacing.
Can I light a grow room with these?
No — light a walkway, a hall or a secondary space with these. A grow room needs a fixture with a published PPFD map and a coverage figure: the DS400D bar or one of the full-spectrum panels, depending on your bench layout.
Is there a spectrum or PPF specification?
Not one we can publish. Wattage, base, dimensions and weight are the documented figures for this range.
Does it dim?
No dimming or control interface is specified.
