What we measured
The three artifacts a lighting plan is actually drawn from. Every figure below comes off our own spec sheet; where we do not have a measurement, the page says so instead of estimating.
Spectrum distribution
Full spectrum - blue peak near 450nm, broad 540-660nm, deep-red peak near 690nm with a short far-red tail (spectrum graph).

The greenhouse variant of the 320W bar. Samsung LM281b diodes in a 31.9-inch frame with its red peak near 690nm and a longer far-red tail than the indoor bar — a spectrum shaped to add what glass and season take away rather than to be the sole light source. Dimmable 0-100% across the full crop cycle.
What you get
- 320W at 277VAC.
- Greenhouse-shaped spectrum: blue peak near 450nm, broad 540-660nm base, red peak near 690nm with a far-red tail.
- Top-bin Samsung LM281b diodes, called out specifically for this build.
- 2ft × 3ft flowering, 3ft × 4ft vegetative coverage — a narrower, more concentrated strip than the indoor DS320S.
- Compact frame at 31.89" × 3.35" × 5.91", 6.0kg — short enough to fit between gutters without shading.
- 0-100% dimming across the full grow and flower cycle, so output can track daylight rather than run flat out.
- 120-277VAC or 277-480VAC, power factor above 0.95, passive cooling to 40°C ambient.
- Five-year standard warranty, L90 beyond 50,000 hours.

Before you spec it
Why does a greenhouse fixture need a different spectrum?
Because it is not the only light source. Under glass you are topping up a natural spectrum that is already strong in the middle of the band and weak at the ends, particularly in winter and at the shoulders of the day. Shifting the red peak longer and extending the far-red tail complements daylight rather than duplicating it.
Why is the coverage smaller than the DS320S at the same wattage?
Concentration. The DS320S spreads its output over 2ft × 4ft; the DS320G puts the same 320W into 2ft × 3ft, which raises intensity in the strip. In a greenhouse you are usually lighting a defined row under a gutter, not covering a floor.
How should it be dimmed through a season?
Against daylight. The fixture dims 0-100% and supports the full cycle, so the practical approach is to run it up as natural light falls and back as it returns. Grouped through the GC001, a house can be scheduled by zone with ramped transitions rather than hard on/off steps.
