What the GC001 Group Controller is for
One touchscreen controller for up to 100 fixtures. The GC001 daisy-chains over RJ12, drives up to four channels per fixture group, schedules three power periods a day with ramped sunrise and sunset, and reads live temperature, humidity and VPD from its own probes — with safety cut-outs that pull output back before a room runs away. It is what turns a set of dimmable fixtures into a controlled facility.

- Four channels per group: full spectrum, UV, 730nm far-red and cool white, each set independently — enough to drive the three-channel TF and TR fixtures with headroom.

- Sunrise and sunset ramps, settable from 1 to 60 minutes with a defined starting percentage — no hard on/off step at lights-on.

Before you spec it
Which fixtures does it control?
The TF, TR, DR and SF families all carry the RJ12 group-control port and are designed for it — see the TF 1000W PRO or DR 1500W PLUS. The DS bars and UC120 are dimmable with external control available; confirm the interface with us for your build. The quantum board range is knob-dimmed and is not documented for group control.
Does it ship with the fixtures?
No. The controller is ordered separately — the fixture instruction sheet marks it explicitly as not in the package. Fixtures ship with a 10ft RJ12 net cable, so the chain hardware is there.
Can one controller run a veg room and a flower room?
Yes, as separate groups with separate schedules, inside the 100-fixture limit. That is the normal deployment: group by room or by zone, then set each group's periods, ramps and per-channel levels independently.
What do I do with the temperature and humidity probes?
Place them at canopy in the zone the controller is driving. They feed the on-screen VPD reading and the safety cut-outs — if the room goes out of range, the controller can reduce output rather than leave the lights hammering a room the HVAC has already lost.
How many can I chain before I need a second controller?
100 fixtures. Beyond that, add controllers by zone; the fixtures do not care which controller they sit under.
